I have always enjoyed fashion when it is paired with an amazing pair of tights. When looking up the founders of various brands of tights there is Henry Holland who is an English fashion designer, businessman and blogger along with launching the "House of Holland" fashion label for tights.
Two other gentlemen I would like to mention is Walter Palmers and Reinhold Wolf, founded Wolford in Bregenz. They were able to transform their vision of creating the world’s best and finest hosiery into reality with a great deal of energy, enthusiasm and passion. Up until today these have remained the main personal qualities which distinguish our employees from others and account for Wolford’s success.
CEO Sandro Veronesi introduced the concept back in 1987, when he launched Calzedonia for stockings and swimsuits, before it was extended to lingerie with Intimissimi and Tezenis.
Harry Hibbert and Oswald Buckland took over a hosiery wholesaling company that was previously owned by the daughter of a bookmaker who had gained financially from the racehorse Pretty Polly.
In 1928, Franz Falke Senior leaves behind a successful industrial enterprise. In 1935, the business was expanded through the acquisition of Strickwarenfabrik Saloman Stern a knitwear company founded in 1810 which to this day is operating under the name FALKE Fashion.
